GERMAN ART WATCHMAKING – 1893
This German brand conveys the essence of luxury German watchmaking just as much now as it did over 129 years ago. The teams of experts in our Glashütte workshops painstakingly handcraft exquisite watches that stand the test of time. To this day, these timepieces are still fitted with only mechanical movements. In 1893, brand founder Johannes Dürrstein devised the concept for a new, modern Glashütte watch: A piece of affordable luxury.
It is his vision that drives us.
Belisar – A strong, sporty character
The versatile models in the Belisar collection appeal to any individualist with an active lifestyle. Whether strikingly dynamic, classically elegant or a retro character – these timepieces are sporty, through and through; their sophisticated functions are sure to capture the attention of any mechanically-minded fans. The flanks, which are typically screw-down, are not only truly eye-catching but also offer plenty of room for unusual combinations of materials.
Noramis – Charming classics
The Noramis collection combines the timelessly classic elegance of the 50s and 60s with modern-day design and technology. Behind the nostalgic exterior lies an extremely powerful contemporary automatic movement, with expertly- finished mechanics and fascinating complications, sure to quicken the pulse of any timepiece enthusiast, anywhere in the world. Exquisite features, such as a curved glass and domed dials in selected shades of colour, such as British Racing Green with a fine metallic effect, as well as exquisite bracelets lend these timepieces their irresistible charm.
Averin – A watch with stature
These expressive timepieces exude style, poise and aplomb. The Averin product line strikes a chord with practically everyone, thanks to its angular shape that stands out from the crowd, in a design that blends painstakingly executed details, a slightly-retro look, and totally cutting-edge workings. The gently curved lines of the pillow-shaped case fit very comfortably against the wrist, in a design that can be worn with pride day in, day out.
1893 – The modern face of German watchmaking tradition
The first UNION timepieces were produced in Glashütte in 1893. The collection of the same name combines Glashütte watchmaking techniques that have been passed down for generations with stateof-the-art developments. A number of details, including blued hands, lacquered dials and railway track chapter rings, are reminiscent of the watches’ predecessors without appearing outdated at all. This collection also includes hand-wound calibres. Thanks to our continuous perfectionism and the use of modern technology like the silicon balance-spring system or an indexless regulation system, our watches are – more than ever – at the forefront of watchmaking.
Viro – Time at its purest
The Viro models focus the mind on essentials: a linear design and an uncompromisingly elegant style that attracts the attention of all onlookers. Subtle yet confident, these timepieces are the young, fresh face of the German watchmaking tradition. Elegant indices are complemented only by subtle date displays or counters; that is indeed all the time that’s needed. The calm and collected exterior of the Viro models conceals a high-quality automatic movement, which can be also admired through the sapphire crystal case-back.
Seris – Because she knows what she wants
The Seris Small Second is designed for confident women who appreciate the elegant character and sensuality of a mechanical watch. The exceptional design of its dial captivates with a boldly positioned date at 12 o’clock. Its circular embedding, together with the round small second display, playfully allude to (ever-lucky) number 8. Exquisite materials and details add the finishing touch to the feminine design, which is understated enough to be worn every day. The secret of the Seris is hidden inside: a high-quality automatic movement with a power reserve of 60 hours. A highly private luxury, which proud owners can enjoy all to themselves when looking through the sapphire crystal case-back.
Sirona – Time is the most precious community
The Sirona blurs the line between timepieces and jewellery. Exuding charm and elegance, these delicate ladies’ timepieces hug the wearer’s wrist, discretely emphasising their personal style. Dials in glossy enamel or shimmering mother-of-pearl provide the perfect backdrop for a sparkling adornment of diamonds. Luxurious details in 18-carat gold also provide elegant accents.
