Since its founding in 1830, Maison d’Horlogerie (Geneva) has been dedicated to the finest watchmaking. Thanks to the high commitment to quality, Baume & Mercier has always managed to create its own distinctive style. Many of the models available for women and men, priced at the entry level of the Swiss Haute Horlogerie, are inspired by successful icons from the rich history of the brand. They combine a vintage appeal with the most modern equipment.
Baume
Baume & Mercier Baume is the most recent collection line. Its focus lies on modern models, which combine various materials, colors, and looks, in a refined mix. Common to all are the crown positioned at 12 o’clock, the slim cases with flamboyant band lugs, and the purist dials with small seconds at three o’clock. The watch also features a smart strap changing system.
Capeland
The Baume & Mercier Capeland collection includes expressive automatic chronographs and three-hand watches, their focus on detail evoking the world of motorsports. The striking, luminescent dials are designed entirely to the benefit of intuitive readability. All the models function with high-quality automatic calibers, with ornaments accentuated by the sapphire glass caseback, as well as high-quality, resistant leather straps.
Classima
With the simple lines of its round cases, large-scale dials with Roman numerals, and elegant leather straps, the Baume & Mercier Classima collection lives up to its name without exception. The minimalist design at the front creates an exciting contrast with the delicately-finished automatic mechanism, revealed through the sapphire glass caseback. The collection includes a wide range of choices, for both women and men, and it includes popular complications such as the annual calendar, GMT, and moon phase display. Women can also opt for a classic watch, with precise Swiss quartz mechanism and luxurious details, such as the mother-of-pearl dials and diamond indices.
Riviera
The Baume & Mercier Riviera collection is a re-interpretation of the luxury sport watch Riviera from the 1970s. With its dodecagonal bezel and the four Allen screws, the wave-shaped decoration on the dial and the integrated metal bracelet, the stainless-steel icon offers a maritime flair. Available in a variety of distinctive variations for women and men, as a three-hand watch, as well as chronograph with the day of the week and date. Inside, Swiss automatic or quartz mechanisms ensure precision. Optionally, the Riviera is also available with a rubber strap, which is color-coordinated with the dial.
Clifton
The elegant line, which has its origins in the 1950s, illustrates the savoir-faire of Baume & Mercier in the most beautiful way possible. With attention to detail, the mechanical three-hand watches, with calendar and moon phase display, as well as the chronographs part of this collection, bring the understatement of traditional Geneva watchmaking art to the wrist. The distinguished design code of Baume & Mercier Clifton is especially noticeable in the bicolor models. Elegant leather and supple metal straps complete the stylish appearance to perfection. The technical flagship of the collection is the Baume & Mercier Clifton with the in-house Baumatic caliber, with which Baume & Mercier has set new standards in the entry-level luxury segment. The watch offers five days of power autonomy, in chronometer precision, high magnetic field protection and long maintenance intervals.
Linea
With the Baume & Mercier Linea collection, the Maison offers feminine models for women. Thanks to the interchangeable straps – metal straps and wrap-around straps – they stand as symbol for the fascinating versatility and the brand’s fashion sense, as new versions, with fashionable shades, are regularly introduced. When it comes to features, women can choose between the classic stainless steel and the luxurious version with diamond indices.
Clifton Club
With the first product family launched in 2017, Baume & Mercier presented its vision for a contemporary sports watch designed in a casual chic style. The Baume & Mercier Clifton Club borrowed elements from the elegant Clifton line, interpreting them in a more modern and also more distinctive way. The line presents itself as versatile, with stainless steel and bronze cases, as well as chronographs, classic three-hand watches and GMT models. There is also a diving watch part of the collection, which is both elegant and resistant.
Hampton
The elegant dress watches belonging to the Baume & Mercier Hampton collection are all about art deco. Paying homage to the respective decade, they feature rectangular cases, which hug the wrist comfortably, thanks to their low height and low-slung lugs. While the front celebrates simple, beautiful minimalism, the back showcases the opulence of Swiss mechanisms and their decorations. The Hampton is also available for women, with precise Swiss quartz mechanisms, sophisticated wrap-around straps, and diamond studding.
Promesse
The Baume & Mercier Promesse stands as a prime example of a timeless, beautiful watch for women. Distinguishing features include the slightly domed, round case and the minimalist dial with Roman numerals and dauphine hands. These are either made from shimmering mother-of-pearl or decorated with a filigree guilloche pattern. The quartz watch is available in two sizes and a variety of finishes, including the charming bicolor models, with corresponding metal bracelet and diamond studding.
